PDO Thread Lift

PDO Thread Lift

PDO thread lifts are known as the “discreet facelift.” There are two different types of thread JennMarie Medpsa offers: Smooth threads and Barbed threads. Both build collagen. Smooth threads are used for fine lines to improve skin texture and reinforce skin quality; they also help dissolve fat underneath the chin and tighten the skin in this area. Barbed threads are meant to lift without volumizing like a hyaluronic acid filler. Lifting threads can be placed to lift the eyebrows, lift the cheeks, lift the jowls, or lift the neck.
The treatment involves inserting the threads into the skin using a small needle. The threads are then tightened to lift and firm the skin. Over time, the threads dissolve, leaving behind a matrix of collagen that supports the skin and provides long-lasting results.
